Your path to freedom starts here
Discover how Nourished Mindset Psychotherapy offers a unique and understanding approach to therapy, especially for those navigating eating disorders and neurodiversity. We meet you where you are and support you towards your goals.
Our therapy services
In practice my aim is to provide a tailored service designed to support you as an individual rather than fitting your eating disorder symptoms into a pre existing treatment style .Sometimes CBT can be limited by NHS services due to funding issues and it is now a popular approach to offer 10 sessions or less.
Unfortunately for many of us this can be extremely restrictive particularly if we have additional needs due to trauma and or neurodiversity.
My approach is rooted in deep understanding, empathy, and a commitment to helping you achieve lasting positive change rather than rushing you through trratment
As a result I also offer Supportive Clinical Management and other NICE guidelines evidence based treatnent approaches.
Eating disorder support
Specialised therapy for individuals unsure about their eating patterns, struggling with unhelpful feedback, or feeling out of control around food.
Neurodiversity-affirming therapy
Support for neurodivergent individuals, acknowledging and validating their unique experiences and strengths in therapy.
Personalised blueprints
Co-created diagrams to understand symptom development, identify strengths, and dismantle unhelpful beliefs to build a life aligned with your values.
Embrace a life of freedom
Our ultimate goal is for you to experience freedom – freedom from unhelpful patterns, freedom to accept yourself, and freedom to live a life aligned with your truest values and aspirations.
Our unique approach
What sets Nourished Mindset Psychotherapy apart is my personal and professional experience. As a neurodivergent practitioner, I deeply understand the challenges of invalidation and the journey to self-acceptance. My experience supporting clients in the NHS, who believed they were too unwell for mainstream services, demonstrated that profound self-acceptance and a less limited life are achievable for everyone.
Who we help
Our services are designed for individuals who are unsure if they have an eating disorder, those receiving unhelpful feedback from family and friends, or individuals who are new to therapy and unsure about the commitment. We also support those who may be overworking to manage symptoms, feeling physically well despite weight loss, unable to stop bingeing, feeling out of control, or worried about weight gain. We meet you exactly where you are.
